Splash Pads
Is it really doggy daycare without a splash pad? The splash pads were built and designed in-house and are always a big hit with our pups and employees! With a control panel that allows employees to pick where water spouts, both dogs and humans are entertained all day long! Our splash pads also feature panels that the pups can push themselves. Be sure to check out the cameras to see how much fun everyone has playing with our splash pads!
Bubble Cannons
It's always a party in daycare! It was obvious to us that our daycare dogs loved bubbles. After some time wondered how we could make it even more fun. Regular bubble machines wouldn't cut it, so we designed and created a bubble cannon!! The bubble solution is non toxic and dog safe. The daycare pups love playing with the cannon and come running whenever they hear the horn. We can always guarantee that anyone driving down Durham or Shepherd always smile when they see how much fun the cannon is!
Cold Plates (Patent-Pending)
Houston Bark Park and Daycare was established by animal lovers and advocates. The design of our buildings, outdoor play areas, and cold plates were all meticulously designed and fabricated by the owners personally. In Houston, TX one of our biggest concerns is combating the heat and humidity. We strongly felt that conventional methods of keeping our packs cool weren’t good enough for us. We wanted to create something that would be able to cool multiple dogs quickly that would also be enjoyable. All dogs love cooling themselves on cold tile and with that understanding we designed the cold plate!
Chill Zones
Our first cold plate began as an experiment. We wanted to offer an effective way to cool off the dogs that emulated something they enjoy doing on a warm day - relaxing on the cold bathroom floor. After some trial and error we've finally created this masterpiece! The refrigeration is underground and we've added a canopy with a misting system! Park members will find easier access to the misting timer and some USB outlets on the benches to charge your phones as well. We are so lucky to do things we love and we will continue to strive to make HBP the best it can be!
Appropriate Play Groups
At both our Maxie and Shepherd locations, we have four different groups your pup can join. Each of these groups are determined by size and temperament. We have two larger dog groups, a small dog group, and our enrichment group! We are very proud to say we know each dog individually and consider they play styles and personalities when we place them in a group!
Indoor and Outdoor Play Areas
Houston Bark Park and Daycare offers indoor and spacious outdoor play areas designed for fun and comfort year round, including splash pads and chill zones. With live cameras in both indoor and outdoor spaces, you can check in on your pup anytime. Their trained staff ensures safe, supervised play tailored to your dog’s size and temperament.
Extended Pick Up
We understand that not every workday ends at 5 PM. To better accommodate busy pet parents with later schedules, we offer extended pick-up hours from 7:00 to 7:45 PM for a small fee. This added flexibility gives you peace of mind knowing your pup is safe and cared for while you wrap up your day. Whether you're stuck at the office or caught in traffic, we’ve got you covered.
Live Cameras
Stay connected with your pup no matter where you are! Our live cameras give you real time access to all the fun happening at Houston Bark Park and Daycare. Whether your dog is splashing in the pool, chasing bubbles, or just lounging with friends, you can tune in from your phone or computer. At our Energy Corridor location, our luxury suites feature 24/7 camera access, so you can check in on your dog day or night
