You can play your own way
Not all pups enjoy the same type of play. That’s why we take the time to truly get to know our dogs, so we can match them with the right group and play style.
At each location, we have different groups your pup can join. Each of these groups are determined by size and temperament. We have larger dog groups, small dog groups, and our enrichment groups! We are very proud to say we know each dog individually and consider their play styles and personalities when we place them in a group!

Outdoor Amenities
Fur pups big and small
Our outdoor play areas include a huge variety of amenities that appeal to any pup. With the Texas heat, our goal is to provide play areas that keep pups cool and comfortable - while providing entertainment and enrichment.
Splash Pads
Is it really a doggy daycare without a splash pad? The splash pads were built and designed in-house and are always a big hit with our pups and employees! With a control panel that allows employees to pick where water spouts, both dogs and humans are entertained all day long! Our splash pads also feature panels that the pups can push themselves. Be sure to check out the cameras to see how much fun everyone has playing with our splash pads!
Bubble Cannons
It's always a party at daycare! It was obvious to us that our daycare dogs loved bubbles. After some time, we wondered how we could make it even more fun. Regular bubble machines wouldn't cut it, so we designed and created a bubble cannon!! The bubble solution is non toxic and dog safe. The daycare pups love playing with the cannon and come running whenever they hear the horn. We can always guarantee that anyone driving down Durham, Shepherd, or Dairy Ashford always smiles when they see how much fun the cannon is!
Cold Plates

Houston Bark Park and Daycare was established by animal lovers and advocates. The design of our buildings, outdoor play areas, and cold plates were all meticulously designed and fabricated by the owners personally. In Houston, TX one of our biggest concerns is combating the heat and humidity. We strongly felt that conventional methods of keeping our packs cool weren’t good enough for us. We wanted to create something that would be able to cool multiple dogs quickly that would also be enjoyable. All dogs love cooling themselves on cold tile and with that understanding we designed the cold plate!
Chill Zones
Our first cold plate began as an experiment. We wanted to offer an effective way to cool off the dogs that emulated something they enjoy doing on a warm day - relaxing on the cold bathroom floor. After some trial and error we've finally created this masterpiece! The refrigeration is underground and we've added a canopy with a misting system! Park members will find easier access to the misting timer and some USB outlets on the benches to charge your phones as well. We are so lucky to do things we love and we will continue to strive to make HBP the best it can be!
Toys and Enrichment Tools
We also provide safe toys for physical and mental stimulation, under careful supervision. For pups in our academy programs, these include pools, play equipment, and specialized toys for developing skills (snuffle mats, balancing balls,etc.).

It’s hard to be apart from your dog. Our live feed cameras let you check in your pup all day. And take it from us - watching dogs play brings a spark of joy to an otherwise dull day. Our feeds are 100% free and don’t require a login - making it easy to pop in for a watch, no matter where you are.

Academy
This special daycare platform was developed for dogs that thrive in smaller social settings and enjoy doing activities. Rather than expecting these pups to self-regulate, this platform focuses on engagement and reinforcing good behavior. Daycare attendants fill the roles of teachers and guide dogs in different activities such as scent games, impulse control games, and an emphasis on rewarding good behaviors. Academy is one part daycare, one part dog training, and fully enriching.
Grooming and Bathing
Our professional groomers are on-site and ready to pamper your pup! Each dog that comes to us is treated with love and care, ensuring that they leave looking and feeling their very best. We offer baths, nail trims and de-shedding services at all locations. Full grooming is also available at our Energy Corridor location.
